| A Student Who Left Happy |
Making people smile is one of the best things in life.
Last night, I prepared a can of dates to give to one of my best students this semester. I love doing this to motivate my students.
Today, after we finished our lesson and it was time to leave, I asked all the students to go except him. He looked nervous because he thought he had done something wrong.
I told him: “Rest assured, I just wanted to thank you for your discipline and active listening skills. You are an amazing student.”
“I didn’t know I had these skills,” he replied.
I explained to him: “We all need someone to remind us of our strengths — and today I’m telling you this.”
He said that it meant the world to him and left with a big smile on his face 😊.
Creativity is about making the smallest things meaningful.
